Dragon's Crown is a classic beat-em-up, and one I've actually played a few hours of back on the PS3 with my friend. I never owned it back then, but I recently picked up the PS4 version dirt cheap and decided to give it a try.
Crysis is a legendary game as a benchmark for PC graphics - "can it run Crysis?' was both a meme and a serious question. These days, Crysis still looks great, but is not longer cutting-edge, and for me, the gameplay was nothing special.
With all the hype around FF7 Rebirth's release, I got in the mode to play the original game. I've never played it before, but I've heard nothing but good thing. While I'm playing the PS4 version of the game, it's clearly a 20 year old game with a slight facelift.
Vanquish is a game that's been on my radar for a long, long time but I've never picked up or acquired in a bundle or anything. It was recently on sale on the Playstation Store, so I picked it up and gave it again.
I've been hooked on Chained Echoes since my initial impressions post a few weeks ago. I've powered through the game, completing the vast majority of the content (everything besides a few mop-up Trophies), and came away with the feeling that this is one of the best turn-based RPGs I've played in...
Cat Quest 2 is very similar to the first Cat Quest game, being a very simple RPG full of cat-related puns. I liked the first game well enough to finish it, but this one was really more of the same and didn't grab my attention.
My name's Mike, and this is the Lore Depository - my spot online where I can write out my thoughts on games, books, tech, history, and anything else I find interesting.
Content comes mainly in 3 forms:
• Reviews, where I post longer-form writeups
• Thoughts, short & quick first impressions posts
• Guides, detailed how-tos and walkthroughs

My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.
