I have, to put it simply, too many games. Thousands across multiple platforms. It sounds insane - and it is - but it's not so crazy when you look at it with a little perspective. I've been gaming for more than 20 years. I've had a Steam account for close to 15 of those. I keep up with deals, I...
I'm about halfway done this book and still loving it. The characters on display here are some of the most deeply human I've ever read. The Emperor's deepening friendship with Cliopher and the rest of the crew is charming and realistic. None of us are Emperors of entire worlds
My next read was supposed to be The Song of Achilles, the last book on my list for the 2022 r/fantasy Book Bingo challenge. I started it, read a few pages. I seems great. Then I saw a snippet of Victoria Goddard's The Hands of the Emperor. That took me to its Amazon page, where I spent the next 2...
Sci-fi isn't normally my genre. I'll take swords, kings, and magic any day over spaceships and physics. Every once in a while, though, I pick up a sci-fi book, and almost every time I find myself really enjoying it. Project Hail Mary is no exception.
The Ramp is a very simple skateboarding game. There is no campaign or story mode - the goal is simple: across the 4 tiny maps, get as much air and speed as you can. It's a fun diversion for a few minutes, but not much more.

My name's Mike, and this is the Lore Depository - my spot online where I can write out my thoughts on games, books, tech, movies, and anything else I find interesting.
My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.
Another project I'm working on is my Pokemon Living Dex Challenge, where I try to obtain one of each available Pokemon and transfer them into Pokemon Home.
Yet another project I'm working on is my Old School RuneScape "Completionist" Quest, where I'm attempting to max out all skills and see everything the game has to offer as a completely new player.
