Recettear is something of an indie legend, famous as a Japanese indie game localized while indie games were really just getting started. It's been on my radar (and in my library) for a few years, but I've never gotten around to playing it till today.
I posted about Astlibra a while back after having played the demo and really enjoying it, and I decided to pick it up during the Steam Winter sale. I've finally gotten around to playing for a few hours and I'm really glad I decided to buy.
Like I said in my post on Spyro 2, the original Spyro the Dragon has always been my favorite of the series. 20 years later that hasn't changed. I love the simplicity of the levels, the goofy voice acting, and the pure distilled platforming without the extra frills future games added in.

Karambola is a short, free point and click/puzzler about a village of sad fruit people. You work through a series of vignettes, helping each little fruit person solve their internal troubles. Puzzles are simple and not too difficult; you're guided to the solutions pretty intuitively.
