Animal Crossing: New Horizons

December 3, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

I'm not the biggest fan of Animal Crossing. I played a lot of City Folk on the Wii, and some Wild World on DS, but I never really got deep into interior design or the more hardcore aspects of the series. Just living in a little town with animal friends was pretty cool to me, but I always eventually got burned out.Much like everyone else, I got swept up in the New Horizons hype when Covid first hit. I played the game for probably 2 weeks straight and liked my time with it, but felt it was missing some content compared to previous entries. I didn't like the fact that tools broke, or how slow crafting was, or the lackluster villager personalities.

That said, New Horizons is still a super cozy enjoyable game. Fishing is fun, and if you've got the type of personality to enjoy designing interiors or terraforming the island, you'll get a ton of enjoyment out of it.

Verdict: Endless

My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.
