Final Fantasy I Pixel Remaster

November 5, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

I don't have a ton of experience with Final Fantasy. I've played a few of them, but never to completion until I finished XVI earlier this year. I've always wanted to play them but have never gotten around to it. I decided to take a look at the Pixel Remaster of the first game for a modern accessible starting point.I'm having fun so far. You can tell that the foundation for the genre was laid down here. The game's really simple mechanically, but it looks and sounds great. I'm going to keep playing, and eventually plan to play all the Final Fantasy games, but this one isn't super high up on my list to finish immediately. The first game is maybe not the best one to start off with, being so simple and with such a mundane story, but it felt right for me to start at the beginning.

Verdict: Keep Playing

My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.
