NHL 24

December 27, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

It's been a while since my last NHL game - the last I had was 20 - and 24 was on sale so I decided to give it a go. I've heard good things about the gameplay, and I don't care about the pay to win modes. I'm happy to say 24 seems like a pretty good game so far. I found some sliders on Operation Sports and played a game with them, winning narrowly 4-3. Gameplay felt realistic and playing the CPU was actually a challenge. In previous years, playing the CPU was an annoying balance between winning way too easily or upping the difficulty and getting destroyed.

With these sliders, I'm feeling a nice balance. My shot total was a bit low compared to the CPU and league average, but that'll improve with time, and my penalties were a bit high. All easily adjustable.

I'm excited to play franchise mode with an expansion team and play some more games.

Verdict: Endless

My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.
