Professor Layton and the Curious Village

March 19, 2023 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Professor Layton and the Curious Village is a deceptively hardcore puzzle game hiding underneath a cute little story.

This game is all puzzles, all the time. I played the HD mobile port, and it's an excellent rendition of the original DS game. The puzzles are mostly logic-based, with some math and wordplay thrown in for good measure. Most are manageable, especially with hints, but some are really tough.

Fans of pure puzzle games have probably already played Layton, but if you haven't, check it out.

Verdict: Finished

My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.
