Terror of Hemasaurus

March 2, 2024 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

Terror of Hemasaurus is an arcade Rampage type game, where your only goal is to cause mayhem as a giant lizard dinosaur creature. It's good, mindless fun, but not something that held my attention for more than about 90 minutes.

The controls are simple, with just a few mechanics. There's a light physics system that makes destroying buildings fun, and some pretty decent pixel art. The story mode is a series of stages linked together by a goofy little story about climate change and corporate greed. The other side of the game is an endless arcade score attack mode. I played the story, and got about 75% through it, but the mechanics weren't really deep enough for me to finish.

Fun little game for a couple bucks. I think the regular $13 price is high. Might be more fun in co-op.

Verdict: Uninstall

My biggest project is my Game Library Project. I have a ton of games collected throughout the years, and have barely played any of them. Check out the linked post to learn more about the project, and click here to be taken to the category page where you can see all my posts for the project.
