Growing up, I was never a Halo fan. I never had an Xbox, or a PC that could play games. When the Master Chief Collection came out, my friend convinced me to give Reach a try.
The Pillars of the Earth is an adaptation of Ken Follett's popular historical fiction book series about the construction of a cathedral in England. Being interested in the subject matter, I decided to give this one a try.
Sayonara Wild Hearts is a really nice little game. Part action game, part rhythm game, it takes a few hours to play through and has an amazing soundtrack.
God of War 2018 is a reboot of the popular Sony hack and slash franchise. It drastically changes up the gameplay, from a hectic action game to a more cinematic over-the-shoulder, slower affair.
Four Last Things is a historical point-and-click comedy game with a unique visual theme. All of the art in this game is compromised of royalty free paintings, altered and animated to fit the game. It's a really slick and unique style, and makes the game really stand out.
Pokemon is one of my favorite series, and I was excited for the series first new mainline entry on the Switch. Sword and Shield retain the series gameplay, but I came away disappointed by the missed potential.
