Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3

DBZ Budokai 3 is a licensed 2D fighter for the PS2 based on the Dragon Ball series. Despite being a licensed game, this one is really good.

You can play as a bunch of different characters in a semi open world story mode, going through each character's individual storyline. There's World tournament mode, too and classic head to head matches.

The roster isn't as full as the later Tenkaichi games, but the series mainstays are all here. Just a really solid 2d fighter with pretty fun mechanics. Awesome for fans of the series.
