Every year, the sports games get me during the playoffs. One of my teams will get hot and make a run, and I'll get the urge to play that year's sports game. This year is no different, and currently the Flyers are making a run, so here I am once again playing the newest NHL game.

I got this one pretty cheap, and I like having an updated roster, so this was a nice pickup for me. This one got pretty middling reviews, but I've played a game in Franchise mode and it seems alright to me. It plays mostly the same as 24, the most recent one I played, but that's not a bad thing. It plays well and with minimal fiddling I got some pretty realistic stats.

Not sure how long I'll keep playing this after the season is over, but it's a good time so far.

Verdict: Timewaster
