Torchlight II

August 23, 2025 - Reading time: ~1 minute - Category: game library project

The Torchlight series (at least the first 2 games) is an excellent, pretty simple ARPG in the vein of Diablo. They have cartoony graphics, and simple but fun gameplay.

I remember really, really liking the first Torchlight game, and I've had this second one for about a decade. Steam says I have about 4 hours played, so I must not have ever finished it. Since playing what's available of Titan Quest 2 a few weeks back, I've had the itch to play another game in the genre and didn't feel like buying something like Last Epoch. So why not dig Torchlight 2 out of the library?

This time around I'm playing as the Outlaw class, which is like a ranged gun/magic user. It's pretty fun so far, if a little easy.

No promises I'm going to have the motivation to finish this run, but I plan on continuing for now.

Verdict: Keep Playing
