I'm a huge fan of F1, and with this movie getting pretty good reviews I was excited to give it a watch. I enjoyed my time with it, but I think true F1 fans will be a bit disappointed.

At the end of the day, F1 is a fun racing movie that plays fast and loose with the real F1 rules in the name of telling a more exciting story. The plot is pretty thin, and the romance subplot entirely unnecessary, but Brad Pitt turns in a decent performance, and the F1 driver cameos were a nice touch.

F1 fans beware: this film will piss you off with how unrealistic the racing, strategies, and pit crew dynamics all are. But it's still an enjoyable watch to turn your brain off to.
