Hannibal: Rome’s Worst Nightmare is a 2006 BBC-produced TV docudrama based on Hannibal's campaigns against Rome. I wasn't expecting much, but it's surprisingly well-done.
There's not much media that focuses on Carthage, so that's already a plus for me. It's also not dry, like some of these documentaries can be. It almost feels like a feature film, rather than a documentary. Alexander Siddig stars as Hannibal, and he does a pretty good job.
Not too much to say about this one, but it was thoroughly entertaining and seems to be mostly historically accurate. I wish we had more media about Carthage because it's really a fascinating civilization. This movie doesn't seem to be streaming any officially, but it's available on Youtube and Dailymotion.
